Filing Dates

February 8, 2010 12 noon - February 26, 2010 12 noon 

Filing Fees: 

County Commissioners - $57.00

Clerk of Court - $800.20

Sheriff - $580.61

Candidate Filing Fees for Judicial, U.S. Congress, N.C. Senate and N.C. House of Representatives.

Early Voting Dates are April 15 - May 1, 2010

(hours to be set at a later board date)

Early Voting Sites are at the Caldwell County Office and at the Granite Recreation Center

Primary Election Day - May 4, 2010

Polls Open : 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Last day to register to vote: April 9, 2010, by 5 p.m., or postmarked that day. 

Same Day registration is available only during Early Voting.  You must have a valid id with your current address, current utility bill or a government document.

Soil and Water Conservation District and School Board filings will begin in July, 2010

 

 

 

If you are not sure which house district you are in, you can look at the precinct list, and if you know your polling location, it will list your house district. You may also call the office if you are not sure which is your house district.
