Election Day - November 3, 2009
(For Cajah's Mountain, Cedar Rock, Gamewell, Granite Falls, Hudson, Lenoir, Rhodhiss and Sawmills)
Polls Open : 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Last day to register to vote: Oct. 9, 2009, by 5 p.m., or postmarked that day
Candidate filing for Municipal Elections will be July 6 (starts at 8 a.m.) to July 17 (ends at 12 p.m.)
The filing fee is $5.
(Possible primary date for Lenoir's election is Oct. 6, 2009)
October 15: One stop early voting begins
Where: Lenoir (County Office Building) and Granite Falls (Shuford Rec. Building)
Same day registration allowed ONLY during early voting.
If you are not sure which house district you are in, you can look at the precinct list, and if you know your polling location, it will list your house district. You may also call the office if you are not sure which is your house district.
