Prenatal (Baby Love) Care

The Baby Love Program is here to help you get the services you need.  Your maternity care coordinator (MCC) can help you with information about:

                        Parenting Classes

                        Lamaze Classes

  • You will stay on the Baby Love Program until 60 days after delivery.
  • Call or visit your Baby Love nurse at least 1 time a month, or more often if needed.

Parenting and Lamaze ClassesParenting classes are taught in a 3-week series at the Lenoir clinic.  They are held from 3:30-5:00 on Wednesdays in Lenoir.  See your MCC for dates.

  • Classes include: Physical development, CPR and caring for your sick baby, choosing your pediatrician, how to care for your baby (feeding, bathing, diaper changing, sleep), guidance and nurturing, teaching your child through play and childcare options.
  • Lamaze classes are held at the Lenoir clinic on Tuesday nights from 6-8 in 6 week sessions. Learn the birthing process, relaxation techniques and much more! Enroll by your 30th week of pregnancy.
  • Earn your Baby Bucks while you learn
