Adult Clinic Services
Services include:
- Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP)-providing clinical breast exam and pap smear. Mammograms for financially eligible women 50 years and older. A component of the program includes cardiovascular screening for cholesterol, and triglycerides with nutritional counseling.
- Communicable and sexually transmitted disease follow-up.
- Home visiting for chronically ill clients that are not homebound.
- Adult immunizations
- Blood pressure clinics and educational programs at county nutritional sites.
- Educational programs, i.e., breast and prostrate cancer, diabetes, sexually transmitted disease/HIV, communicable disease, sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
Clinic Services: The Caldwell County Health Department Clinic provides a comprehensive range of services including:
- Adult and pediatric physicals
- family planning services
- maternity care
- immunizations
- STD treatment and follow up and HIV testing
- follow up for abnormal pap smears with colposcopy and biopsy
- primary care clinic for sick adults and children
