Primary Care Clinic

 Adult Clinic Services

Services include:

  • Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program (BCCCP)-providing clinical breast exam and pap smear. Mammograms for financially eligible women 50 years and older. A component of the program includes cardiovascular screening for cholesterol, and triglycerides with nutritional counseling.
  • Communicable and sexually transmitted disease follow-up.
  • Home visiting for chronically ill clients that are not homebound.
  • Adult immunizations
  • Blood pressure clinics and educational programs at county nutritional sites.
  • Educational programs, i.e., breast and prostrate cancer, diabetes, sexually transmitted disease/HIV, communicable disease, sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).

Clinic Services: The Caldwell County Health Department Clinic provides a comprehensive range of services including: 

  • Adult and pediatric physicals
  • family planning services
  • maternity care
  • immunizations
  • STD treatment and follow up and HIV testing
  • follow up for abnormal pap smears with colposcopy and biopsy
  • primary care clinic for sick adults and children
