If you are new to Caldwell County or wish to update your existing voter registration (change of name, address, party etc.), click our documents page to locate a blank voter registration form. Print and complete the form, then either drop it by our office or mail it to us at PO Box 564, Lenoir, NC 28645. We are located in the lower level of the Alden E. Starnes County Office Plaza in Lenoir. You should receive a new/updated voter registration card within 10 business days.
The next elections held in Caldwell County will take place on November 3, 2015. Only municipalites will hold elections on this date, and eligible voters must live and be registered within one of our eight municipalities. To check your voter registration status and polling place click here. To request an absentee ballot by mail, print and fill out the State Absentee Request form found on our documents page. Mail your completed, signed request to our office at P.O. Box 564, Lenoir, NC 28645 or hand deliver it to us. Absentee requests must be received by our office no later than one week prior to the date of the election.
