- Tuesday, July 4, 2023 (Independence Day).
- Monday, September 4, 2023 (Labor Day)
- Friday, November 10, 2023 (Veteran's Day)
- Thursday, November 23, 2023 (Thanksgiving)
- Monday, December 25, 2023 (Christmas)
Caldwell County operates nine Convenience Centers located throughout the County for household waste disposal and recycling.

Foothills Environmental Landfill in Caldwell County is operated by Republic Services. The County and Republic Services have a public/private partnership to operate the landfill located at 2800 Cheraw Road in Lenoir.
