Ways to Help

You can help lost and abandoned animals in our county by giving directly to us.

Volunteer

Are you an animal lover who is looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity? Consider volunteering with us. We ask volunteers to commit to spending 1-2 hours per week  for a 3 month period, of course longer is better.

To get started, stop by our office at 829 Fairview Drive, Lenoir between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to complete a volunteer application form. If you are 16 or 17, you will need a parent to come with you to sign the form.

We look forward to having you on our volunteer team soon!

Purchase a T-shirt

Show your support of Animal Control by purchasing a T-shirt. T-shirts cost $15 and are available in sizes small to XXXL. To purchase a shirt, stop by our office located at 829 Fairview Drive. All proceeds from the sale of shirts go toward the purchase of an adoption trailer and to help fund our new building.

Adoption Trailer

We want to take our adoptable animals on the road, so they’ll have more opportunities to find their fur-ever homes. To make this dream a reality and still meet state regulations, we need to purchase a climate-controlled adoption trailer. You can help us reach our goal by donating to the Adoption Trailer Fund.

Donations can be mailed to Animal Control, PO Box 2200, Lenoir, NC 28645 or dropped by our office at 829 Fairview Drive, Lenoir. Remember to note your donation is for the Adoption Trailer Fund.
